Event Details

A night of soul-filled spirituals as we ring in black history month.

Prepare to be uplifted and take off as you listen to songs that celebrate black history.

Sip and Stories

The night will begin with a delicious drink at Refuge Coffee Co. Sweet Auburn. Accompanied with sights and sounds of Erin Richardson’s Black Soil Exhibition and Sweet Auburn Stories.

Journey

One hour of Negro Spirituals with Javohn Paul at the APEX Museum. With a special guest performance by the Academy of the Arts Dance Company.

Free parking available in the APEX Museum’s parking lot

COVID Precautions:

  • Face masks are required!
  • Socially distanced seating.
  • Limited ticket availability for in-person attendance.

We ask:

  • If you feel sick or have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID, please stay home.
